How it works – the Cressbar® in 7 Steps

Simply insert the Cresspads, water them regularly and harvest them after a few days. It's easy to grow cress yourself - but, we have a few tips for you if you are using the Cressbar® for the first time!

Step 1 – Unpacking:

Clean the Cressbar® thoroughly before the first use.

Step 2 – Setup:

Place the Cresspad in the Cressbar® shelf so that the seed is facing up.

Step 3 – Initial watering:

Pour lots of water on the Cresspad - the water should remain below the base of the shelf.

Step 4 – Cover:

Set the Cressbar® in a bright, sunny place, and place the cover on it.

Step 5 – Continued Watering:

Water the Cressbar® once daily. The Cresspad must not dry out. If necessary, change the water in the reservoir.

Step 6 – Wait:

The cover can be removed after a few days. The seedlings will dry out from now on and continue to develop.

Step 7 – Harvest:

Cut the seedlings from just above the shell edge. Now you can enjoy them!
The mat and root residues can be easily disposed of in the biowaste bin or on the compost pile.
